Brigadier Gejaheline's service record is long, successful, and mostly classified, even at this level.
Loyal, intelligent, and never lacking in both cunning and bravery, the Brigadier has been highly successful in her career both before and during her career in the UGTO, working her way up through three seperate hierarchies.
Initially, she worked as a researcher for the GCC, performing research into transhumanism; enhancing the human form beyond its natural limits. Her dedication to this research was such that she was willing to act as a guinea pig when it came to actually applying the results of her research: When the GCC decided to try and modify the entire population of the planet in 2084, Gejaheline was the first person to undergo the prototype treatment.
According to records from the time, the treatment was both wildly successful and a terrible failure. Quite what the results were are unclear, as many records of the experiments have been lost or destroyed, possibly intentionally. It is interesting to note that no photographs of her have survived from after 2084.
What is known, however, is that the modifications vastly increased her lifespan, since she is still alive today after almost 200 years.
Additionally, it seems to have spurred a change in career and possibly personality; after the incident, she enlisted in the GCC military arm as an officer, where she attained the rank of Brigadier by virtue of exceptional cunning, implacability, and her ability to emerge alive from seemingly unsurvivable situations. Presumably she did not gain a more distinguished rank due to a desire to avoid publicity, possibly due to her modifications.
Subsequently, she moved from ground combat to space combat, joining the SDO and commanding their newly-built warships against the pirate scourge that had started to prey upon merchant shipping. While her performance both in ship-to-ship combat and fleet command rapidly developed into excellence, again she served in a support role in the chain of command, never really coming into the public eye.
Eventually, Gejaheline moved into the intelligence services, where she found her niche, although she tended to create niches wherever she went. The secretive creature now controlled secrets, which suited her perfectly. When UGTO Naval Intelligence was formed, it seemed natural for her to become its director, where she has remained until this day.
As director of UNI, she knows everything, a shadowy being who pulls the strings of UGTO's intelligence assets, reading every report, keeping every secret. Recently she has taken a personal hand in an operation; she has seconded herself to the GTN's intelligence division whilst they investigate the mysterious MI.
This doesn't mean that she remains entirely isolated from the universe in her offices on Mars, though; occasionally she has been observed to be flying particularly advanced models of UGTO ships with unusual equipment or weapons; apparently she still has a desire to be a guinea pig when it comes to new technological advancements.
